Job Description

JOB TITLE
Quorum Land Analyst
LOCATION
Houston, TX (Onsite - 1100 Louisiana)
DURATION
12-Month Contract ( Likely extension up to 2 years )
PAY:
41-46 USD per hour
Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will manage and support land records administration and pipeline documentation processes.
Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing alignment maps to accurately identify pipeline assets and associated surface ownership/grantor information. Categorizing, organizing, and filing documentation consistent with alignment maps. Creating connections between digital documents and appropriate GIS parcel data. Reviewing and verifying document details within the land database system, including: o Grantor/Grantee information. o Recording data and property descriptions. o Affected assets, tract, and provision details. o Easements, leases, deeds, and other land agreements. Updating and auditing the land database as necessary. Plotting legal descriptions using deed plotting software and identifying correct locations on alignment sheets and GIS parcel data. Reviewing physical alignment sheets and supporting documentation as needed. Performing other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
Accurately interpret land-related legal descriptions, plats, alignment sheets, and maps. Verify and maintain integrity of land records within database systems. Ensure proper documentation and digital record alignment with GIS parcel data. Conduct quality checks and audits of land documentation records. Handle sensitive and confidential land documentation appropriately. Collaborate with Land Manager and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Knowledge & Skills:
Experience in land records administration, management, and documentation of pipeline systems. Understanding of land agreements including easements, permits, deeds, ordinances, and assignments. Basic land title experience. Experience with Quorum data products (On Demand Land preferred). Experience with Google Earth and GIS software (ESRI products). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Education & Experience:
Relevant experience in land administration or related field required. Prior experience in pipeline land systems strongly preferred. GIS and land database system experience required. ...
