Job-Type:
Full-Time, In person (Fresno Based) or Remote (Some travel will be required) BSK is looking for a growth-oriented, creative team player and strategic thinker to fill the position of Senior Solutions Administrator. The ideal candidate will be a degreed scientist with 25+ year's experience in the analytical lab industry, including more than 15 years experience in environmental testing and 10+ years managing multiple labs concurrently of different sizes and scopes. The candidate will have expertise in people management, operations with P&L responsibility, QA, LIMS implementation, mergers and acquisitions, integration, change management, and emerging technology. The pay range for this position is $104,000- $176,800 Plus 10%+ based bonus, offers will be based on the successful candidate's experience. Role and Responsibilities The Senior Solutions Administrator is an integral part of the Analytical Leadership Team. The position reports to Analytical Laboratory COO and supports all functions of the Leadership Team throughout the division, as well as having direct oversight of the QA staff and indirect supervision of the LIMS staff.
Duties include:
Execution of Strategic Initiatives o existing facility relocation o new facility set up o vetting and managing acquisitions o integration of new teams after acquisition, purchase or mergers o change management and reducing turnover o improvement of client satisfaction and providing superior client experience Being an active member of the Bid Review Team, providing sales assistance with pricing and market strategy P&L review and advising on ways to improve top and bottom line Staying active in industry to advise on method development, optimizing procedures and technology deployment to maximize sample throughput and gain market share for growth Quality assurance oversight including managing the QA team aimed at achieving data accuracy and precision, and maintaining accreditation along with continuous improvement through effective corrective actions Providing legal assistance, acting as expert witness, data management and defensibility Being an active member of the Emerging Technology Team, providing recommendations on equipment acquisition and troubleshooting existing equipment and facility issues Maintaining key external strategic business relationships by representing BSK in industry associations and committees and by attending conferences and trade shows Maintaining oversight and championing IT projects to improve efficiency, unit prices, and profitability including overseeing LIMS implementation Exemplifying and championing company culture and values Additional duties as assigned by COO Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related science 25 years analytical laboratory industry and 15 years of management experience Preferred Skills/ Attributes Analytical and Strategic Thinking Excellent Communication & Collaboration Resource Management Business Financial Analysis Acquisition and Integration Experience Experience in New Lab Start Ups Experience in LIMS Implementation Experience in Quality Assurance Management
