Technical Manager:
Serve as technical strategist for civil engineering and technical specialties for a given land/site development, water resources, or survey related project. Provide technical leadership by developing and refining technical processes and methodologies. Advance technical capabilities by developing and mentoring staff through facilitating knowledge transfer and advanced technical learning. Manages team members to include task delegation, conducting/participation in staff reviews, and other supervisory related tasks. Actively participate in the organization's QA/QC processes by conducting thorough technical reviews of engineering deliverables and mentoring staff in quality standards and procedures.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline from a four-year college or university and civil engineering design experience of at least 6 years. At least 3 years of experience serving as the central design figure, mentor to employees, and lead for overseeing technical aspects of projects. Excellent decision-making, communication, leadership, technical skills, and ability to manage a land development project from start to finish (entitlements through construction support). EIT certification required PE certification preferred A motivated, curious problem-solver who works well independently and on a team.
