The ideal candidate will provide exceptional technical assistance and support to our users, ensuring that all IT systems are running smoothly. This role requires a strong understanding of desktop support, computer hardware, and networking fundamentals, as well as the ability to analyze and troubleshoot various technical issues. Responsibilities Provide first-line support for IT-related issues, including desktop support and hardware troubleshooting. Assist users with software applications, including Microsoft Office and other essential tools. Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN) to ensure optimal performance. Utilize ServiceNow for ticket management and tracking of user requests. Troubleshoot DNS and TCP/IP connectivity issues to resolve network problems. Conduct routine maintenance on computer systems and peripherals. Document technical processes and create user guides for common IT tasks. Collaborate with other IT team members to improve service delivery and user satisfaction. Experience Proven experience in IT support or a similar role, with a focus on desktop support. Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with Linux operating systems is a plus. Understanding of networking concepts, including LAN setup and management. Proficiency in using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems for issue tracking. Ability to analyze technical problems effectively and provide timely solutions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-oriented approach.
