Information Technology EB Poheganut Overview General Dynamics Electric Boat Information Techology Department (D604) is searching for a highly motivated individual to supervise several EBIT teams to include the Deck plate Assistance and Real Time Support (DARTS) team, responsible for supporting the use of digital shipbuilding tools and processes at the deck plate.
Primary Responsibilities:
Supervise several EBIT teams to include the Deck Plate Assistance and Real time support (DARTS) team, responsible for supporting the use of digital shipbuilding tools and processes at the deck plate throughout Operations at Groton Shipyard. Continuous interaction with EBIT (Tech Stop & SE Org) to ensure a smooth customer experience Leading the DARTS team in collaboration with Shipbuilders, Deck Plate Engineering, Planning, Construction Readiness, IT, etc. to support Operations Ensuring continuous improvement of deployed tools or capabilities through a dedicated feedback loop from Operations Professional development and empowerment of the Quonset Point DARTS Program Reps This Supervisory position is located at Groton Shipyard and will require availability onsite 5 days a week The successful candidate will have excellent project management and communication skills. They will also have a high-level understanding of Electric Boat construction processes and be able to think strategically while acting tactically to execute multiple projects concurrently. This leader must be skilled at problem identification, investigation, and resolution of tasking through completion. Responsibilities PC Hardware Lifecycle Management Time Management Ability to develop and support Processes Leadership daily to support business objectives Management skills with Vendors and end users Ability to identify problems and lead to solutions Customer service
Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent 4+ years' experience in Design/Engineering, Digital Transformation or Information Technology Experience with end user support Working knowledge with Service Now Ticketing Process Working knowledge with Microsoft Office Products Active Secret security clearance is required
Preferred:
Associate's degree in engineering or information technology Familiar with Power BI 8 or more years' experience in Design/Engineering, Digital Transformation or Information Technology 2 or more years in a Supervisory role EB Business System Processes
