Information Technology Network Manager Confidential Bradenton, FL 34211
Full-time Full-time SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for administering and overseeing the implementation, organization; troubleshooting of the network, hardware, and underlying communications protocols.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develops and implements design, configuration, installation, and maintenance of network hardware, software, and telecommunications services.
  • Maintains the integrity of the network/systems security and optimization of the network (LAN and WAN).
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures related to network hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security, and backup.
  • Oversees the system and personnel to respond to the needs and questions of network users; troubleshoots, diagnoses, and fixes hardware and/or software problems.
  • Establishes and maintains network users, user environment, directories, and security.
  • Develops and communicates standards for use, operations, and security of network, personal computers, and data;
  • Works in collaboration with the IT Applications Manager and team to train users on software and equipment usage.
  • Interfaces with other departments and vendors to report and resolve software, hardware, and operations problems; develops system solutions consistent with organizational objectives.
  • Researches and evaluates new technologies and negotiates contracts with and activities of hardware, software, telecommunications, support, and training vendors; installs, maintains, and upgrades computer workstations and software.
  • Develops and implements disaster recovery procedures; prepares and maintains documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts; monitors and maintains network stability.
  • Provides Intranet and Internet services that allow employees to connect to data and applications.
  • Installs and configures desktop and laptop systems.
  • Provides project management, design implementation, documentation, and operations support for network infrastructure.
  • Maintains Hardware Asset Inventory and Tracking
  • Oversees and ensures the highest level of security, uptime and access via the following network infrastructure:
  • Office365/Win365 Administration & Management
  • Secure PC Cloud Management
  • Digital Operations
  • Security Operations
  • Maintains Department Service Level Agreement Response Times
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field from four-year college or university, or four years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, licenses and registrations required:
  • A+, Network+, and/or similar certifications.
Computer skills required:
  • Database Software;
  • PACS including DICOM
  • EMR (eCW Preferred)
  • VOIP Systems
  • Development Software;
  • Internet Software;
  • Spreadsheet Software (Excel);
  • Inventory Software;
  • Order Processing Systems;
  • Project Management Software;
  • Word Processing Software (Word);
  • Electronic Mail Software (Outlook);
  • Presentation software (PowerPoint); Other skills required: o At least three years of experience with LAN and WAN technologies, including multiple network operating systems, topologies, and protocols, required.
o Capable interpersonal and customer service skills. o Thorough understanding of networking protocols, LAN networking, and WAN networking. o Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
