Job Description

Description Team Leadership & Operations + Lead, develop, and mentor a diverse IT team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. + Manage staffing models, schedules, and on‑call coverage to support round‑the‑clock operations. + Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and support career development planning. + Promote a culture rooted in safety, integrity, and respectful engagement. + Contribute to enterprise IT planning and modernization efforts. + Oversee service management platforms, help desk tools, and IT operational systems. + Support companywide initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and operational excellence. Project & Initiative Delivery + Lead and deliver IT initiatives such as system implementations, infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, and application rollouts. + Define project scope, timelines, resource requirements, and success measures. + Coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful outcomes. Infrastructure & Systems Oversight + Direct the architecture, deployment, and support of servers, networks, storage platforms, and cloud services. + Ensure the reliability and performance of core business applications such as ERP, CRM, and collaboration tools. + Plan and execute system upgrades, patching cycles, and technology refresh initiatives. + Maintain accurate technical documentation, standards, and operating procedures. Requirements Required Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a comparable combination of education and experience. + 10+ years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or network management. + 5+ years in a supervisory or team leadership role. + Strong experience with Microsoft environments including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, endpoint management, and remote support tools. + Deep understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, virtualization, server infrastructure, and cloud technologies. + Hands-on experience with VMware, Hyper‑V, enterprise storage, and hybrid environments. + Working knowledge of cybersecurity practices, SIEM tools, and identity/access management. + Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills. + Ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on execution. + Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting. + Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed. Preferred Experience + IT leadership experience within manufacturing or industrial environments, including IT/OT integration. + Background with Microsoft Azure, Intune, Defender, and cloud‑first security models. + Experience supporting enterprise ERP platforms such as SAP, Infor, Epicor, or NetSuite. + Familiarity with NIST, CMMC, or security frameworks relevant to regulated industries. + Project management credentials (PMP, ITIL, CompTIA Project+, or similar). + Experience driving digital transformation, modernization, or automation initiatives. + Proven success leading multi‑site or distributed IT teams.
