IT Manager (Infrastructure and Systems) We are seeking a hands-on IT Manager to oversee and support all aspects of our technology environment. This role is responsible for maintaining infrastructure, supporting business-critical systems, and ensuring reliable day-to-day IT operations across the organization. This position requires a well-rounded IT professional capable of working across networking, servers, cloud platforms, business applications, and data systems in a fast-paced logistics environment. Pay is based on level of experience. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure and Networking Manage and support network infrastructure including Cisco Meraki firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks Administer and maintain UniFi switch environments and network configurations Monitor network performance, uptime, and security Troubleshoot connectivity issues across multiple locations and remote users Systems and Server Administration Manage Windows Server environments (2019/2022+) Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and user access controls Maintain virtualized environments (VMware and/or Hyper-V) Oversee file servers, application servers, and remote desktop environments Cloud and Microsoft Administration Manage Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID (Azure AD) Administer user provisioning, licensing, and security policies Support hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud integration) Assist with Azure infrastructure and services where applicable Business Systems and Applications Support and maintain McLeod TMS, including configuration, troubleshooting, and integrations Manage Samsara telematics platform and related data integrations Provide support for internal users across business-critical applications Data and Reporting Develop and maintain SQL-based reports Write and optimize queries to support operational and reporting needs Work with internal teams to deliver data insights Security and Backup Manage endpoint protection and security tools Oversee backup systems and disaster recovery processes Ensure adherence to company security policies and best practices Vendor and IT Operations Coordinate with third-party vendors, MSPs, and software providers Manage IT projects and system upgrades Provide end-user support and escalate complex issues as needed Maintain documentation of systems, processes, and configurations Required Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on IT experience in a multi-system environment Strong experience with networking, including Cisco Meraki, switching, and VPNs Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization Experience managing Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint) Working knowledge of SQL (queries and reporting) Ability to troubleshoot across infrastructure, applications, and user environments Preferred Qualifications Experience with McLeod TMS Experience with Samsara or similar telematics platforms Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms Experience in transportation, logistics, or brokerage environments Familiarity with EDI transactions (204, 214, 210, 990) Key Skills Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Comfortable working in a hands-on environment with broad responsibilities Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams Ability to operate in a fast-paced, business-critical environment
