Job Description

Location Schaumburg Office Status - Hybrid Salary up to 180k Benefits - Eligible for PTO, medical, dental, life, 401k and tuition reimbursement Our client is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Information Technology to lead the development and execution of our organization's technology vision. This leadership role is responsible for aligning technology, systems, data, and digital solutions with business objectives while ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable operations. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a forward-looking IT strategy that supports organizational goals and growth. Partner with stakeholders across the organization to identify needs and implement technology solutions that improve efficiency and user experience. Oversee IT operations, infrastructure, applications, systems integration, cybersecurity, and vendor relationships. Drive process improvement and digital transformation initiatives, including evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies such as AI. Establish governance, data integrity, and security practices across technology platforms. Lead IT project planning, prioritization, budgeting, and execution. Evaluate and optimize enterprise systems, including CRM/AMS, LMS, and integrated business applications. Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team while fostering accountability, collaboration, and customer service. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership responsibility. Minimum 5 years of strategic leadership experience. Proven success aligning technology initiatives with business objectives. Strong project management, budgeting, and vendor management experience. Experience with enterprise systems, integrations, and process optimization. Solid understanding of cybersecurity, risk management, and IT governance. Master's degree preferred.
