Job Description

IT Operations Manager 100 Center Plaza, La Porte, IN 46350 Full-time Full-time Job Overview We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and Operations facility. This role is responsible for both operational and technical support functions, ensuring system reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement. The Operations Manager will lead efforts related to hardware and software acquisition, system maintenance, and technical staff coordination, while driving process enhancements and maintaining data integrity. This position also ensures that effective backup and recovery procedures are consistently in place. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the ERP system, including database oversight, system modifications, and future development to meet evolving business needs. Plan, schedule, and coordinate hardware upgrades and routine maintenance activities. Supervise IT Operations staff, establishing procedures and schedules to ensure efficient handling and distribution of system outputs. Oversee the evaluation, acquisition, and implementation of hardware, software, and maintenance agreements to maximize system integration, compatibility, and uptime with minimal disruption. Lead training initiatives to ensure all users are properly trained and supported in system use. Develop and deliver reports and reporting segments on a regular or as-requested basis. Ensure reliable data backup and recovery processes are implemented and maintained. Identify and resolve data errors while assessing operational needs and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency. Foster a high-performance work environment through positive leadership, collaboration, and strong team engagement. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system-related issues. Strong technical proficiency, including experience with programming and emerging software technologies. Proven track record of delivering advanced technical support and comprehensive problem resolution for end users. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical information both verbally and in writing.
