Job Summary:
This role is responsible for managing, optimizing, and continuously improving the use of fabrication technology across the company. The Construction Technology Specialist will serve as the internal subject-matter expert for Stratus and CAMduct while collaborating closely with operations, detailing/VDC teams, field leadership, and internal IT to drive efficiency, standardization, and innovation. The role will also assess and implement emerging construction technologies, including collaborating with the TWC IT department to develop custom in-house applications.Responsibilities:
Serve as the company expert and administrator for Stratus and Autodesk Fabrication CAMduct. Ensure smooth integration between Stratus, CAMduct, and related fabrication/VDC tools. Evaluate current workflows and implement improvements to maximize efficiency in model-to-fabrication-to-field processes. Develop best practices, standards, and automation opportunities within Stratus and CAMduct. Identify inefficiencies and introduce solutions that improve productivity, accuracy, and collaboration. Work closely with the internal IT team to: Identify opportunities for custom integrations Support development of in-house applications Connect fabrication data with other business systems. Assist with API-based or database integrations where applicable. Help implement new technology that enhances prefabrication, layout, and construction operations. Stay informed on emerging construction technologies.Requirements:
7-10 years construction technology support experience, 3-5 years in MEP fabrication and construction management platforms Bachelor's degree in Technology Area or related fieldOccasional Travel We Offer:
