Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Part-Time Director of Technology provides strategic leadership, coordination, and support for the schools technology systems, ensuring they effectively enhance teaching, learning, and administrative operations. This role is responsible for maintaining the schools technology infrastructure, supporting faculty and staff, and promoting the ethical and mission-driven use of technology consistent with Catholic values.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and maintain the schools technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for faculty, staff, and students
  • Manage and update educational technology tools and classroom resources
  • Collaborate with school leadership to develop and implement a long-term technology plan and budget
  • Train and support teachers in integrating technology into the curriculum
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, cybersecurity, and acceptable use policies
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed
  • Promote responsible digital citizenship aligned with Catholic teachings
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Education Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience
  • Experience managing IT systems in an educational setting preferred
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with instructional technology and learning management systems
  • Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
Work Schedule:
  • Part-time, flexible hours as needed to support school operations
Reporting To:
  • Principal or designated school administrator
