Job Description The Warehouse Systems Manager oversees the technology that powers daily distribution and fulfillment operations. This role manages warehouse applications—including WMS, WCS, automation interfaces, labeling/printing solutions, and supporting tools—while leading a small team responsible for system uptime, enhancements, and user support. The manager works closely with Operations, IT, Systems Support, and vendors to ensure efficient, accurate, and scalable warehouse systems performance across multiple sites.
Duties:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of application administrators, developers, and support specialists. Set and align team priorities, goals, and objectives with those of Arrowhead, IT, and Functional Business Partners Own day‑to‑day performance, configuration, and support of multiple warehouse systems (WMS, WCS, custom apps, printing solutions, RF devices). Manage system incidents, root‑cause analysis, and change requests to ensure stable operations. Drive excellent customer service by overseeing support ticket intake, communication, and resolution Partner with Operations to identify process improvements and drive system enhancement prioritization. Lead system upgrades, new feature rollouts, and implementations for new facilities or processes across multiple sites and systems. Coordinate UAT, training, documentation, and cross‑functional communication for all changes. Collaborate with IT to support integrations, APIs, data accuracy, and hardware reliability. Maintain reporting and dashboards to support operational KPIs and inventory accuracy. Manage vendor relationships, support contracts, and project timelines. Bachelor's degree in IT, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (education can be substituted with experience on year to year basis) Experience with systems such as Oracle Cloud WMS, Lightning Pick, Infios Edge, or similar platforms preferred. Experience with SQL, APIs, or label printing technology is a plus. Strong understanding of warehouse operations (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control). Experience leading a team or supporting technical staff. Experience with SaaS and on-premise applications Proficiency with system troubleshooting, configuration, and process mapping.
