Job Description

Loyd's Electric Supply is seeking a highly organized, solutions-driven, and technically skilled IT & Systems Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the company's technology infrastructure, managing day-to-day IT operations, maintaining network and system security, supporting employees with technical issues, and ensuring all systems operate efficiently and reliably. The ideal candidate will possess advanced computer knowledge and technical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multitasking environment. Responsibilities:
Oversee and maintain the company's ERP system, servers, networks, and overall IT infrastructure, including troubleshooting, system updates, user support, and ongoing performance optimization. Manage and maintain server hardware, including installation, monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, and performance reliability Provide day-to-day technical support for employees, including troubleshooting computers, printers, and related hardware issues Monitor system performance, security, backups, and software updates Oversee and ensure protection of company data and systems Maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls Coordinate with third-party vendors, software providers, and IT service partners Assist with implementation and maintenance of business software, databases, and cloud-based systems Develop and maintain IT procedures, documentation, and best practices Ensure minimal downtime and quick resolution of technical issues Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing the annual inventory process, including physical counts, reconciliation, and reporting to ensure complete and accurate inventory records. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances throughout the year Work closely with managers, office, warehouse, and sales departments
Qualifications:
Previous experience in IT management, systems administration, ERP management, or a related field Strong knowledge of computer hardware, server infrastructure, networking, and software systems Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong organizational and communication abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
