Job Description

Foss Recycling is looking for an exceptionally hands-on, service-oriented leader for this important role. This key leadership position is a combination of production management, process improvement, management of processing team, maintenance oversight, coaching/training, administration, and field supervision. Key Responsibilities Directly supervise and lead the daily dismantling, recycling, and U-Pull-It operations with multiple employees. Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills. Experience with inventory management and maintaining accurate stock records. Excellent customer service skills with experience in cashier operations and money handling. Strong computer skills and proficiency with point-of-sale systems, inventory software, and basic programs. Good working knowledge of auto parts and vehicle systems. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Experience maintaining and troubleshooting heavy equipment (loaders, hydraulics, tow motors, etc.) strongly preferred . Physically able to stand, walk, bend, climb, lift up to 50 lbs, and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Reliable transportation to the job site. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred . Oversee inventory management, including tracking incoming and outgoing parts, maintaining accurate stock levels, and conducting regular inventory counts. Manage cashier operations, customer service, and accurate money handling at the point of sale. Deliver excellent customer service and ensure the team provides friendly, professional service to all customers. Work hands-on alongside the team in all weather conditions while ensuring production, sales, and inventory goals are met safely and efficiently. Mentor, train, and develop team members in operational tasks, customer service, and inventory procedures. Set clear daily and weekly goals for the team and monitor progress and results. Oversee equipment maintenance and troubleshooting for loaders, tow motors, hydraulics, and other heavy machinery. Enforce company policies, environmental standards, and strict health & safety protocols. Handle administrative tasks, documentation, reporting, daily cash reconciliation, and inventory records. Demonstrate reliability and flexibility, including occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
