Job Description

Position Overview The Director, Information Technology reports to the CFO and VP of Finance. The primary role of this position is building and maintaining the IT roadmap for the organization with a focus on the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system. To succeed in this role, the Director must collaborate with and lead a cross-functional team of peers to define, develop, prioritize, and execute strategic and disaster recovery plans that support the Company's short and long-term objectives. The Director is ultimately accountable for IT service delivery, infrastructure, end-user support (helpdesk), and cybersecurity, ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant technology operations. The role requires frequent interaction with multiple departments and leadership, including Finance, Manufacturing, Sales, Customer Service, Validation and Pharmacy teams. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership for information technology, aligning initiatives, roadmaps, and investment priorities with business objectives. Own the architecture, performance, availability, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications, including JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and integrated third-party solutions. Lead IT operations and helpdesk/service delivery (incident, problem, change, and release management) with defined SLAs, KPIs, and continual improvement to ensure stable, reliable, and customer-focused support. Establish and maintain processes and procedures for the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne technical environment, including on-premise and cloud solutions. Plan and manage tools releases, application upgrades, patches, and enhancements; coordinate testing and cutover activities to minimize business disruption. Partner with business stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize the portfolio, and deliver solutions that improve Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service, Validation, and Pharmacy workflows. Develop, maintain, and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical systems; ensure recovery objectives are defined and met. Own the cybersecurity program and risk management posture, including security governance, policies/standards, incident response, identity and access management, vulnerability management, security monitoring/logging, backup/restore, and third-party/vendor risk management. Provide leadership and accountability for IT infrastructure and end-user services, including networks, servers, storage, endpoints, collaboration tools, and helpdesk/service desk operations, to meet performance, availability, and compliance requirements. Maintain all third-party applications connected to JD Edwards, including software updates, enhancements, and newly released functionality. Develop and manage project charters, budgets, timelines, and resource plans; provide executive-level status reporting and risk/issue management. Manage vendor relationships and contracts, including managed services and third-party consultants; ensure service level expectations are defined and achieved. Serve as the primary liaison between internal JDE users, JDE support team members, other IT groups, and third-party vendors. • Ensure compliance with cGMPs, computer system validation (CSV) expectations, data integrity requirements, and applicable standard operating procedures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 4+ years in a senior leadership/management role. 5+ years supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or similar ERP platforms in a manufacturing environment. Solid understanding of computer system validation (CSV) processes and applicable compliance/regulatory guidelines (e.g., cGMP environment). Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing infrastructure, helpdesk/service desk operations, and cybersecurity in a regulated and/or manufacturing environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and organizational capabilities. Strong project/program management skills with proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities. Working knowledge of relational database concepts, client-server concepts, and web-based environments. Understanding of MS SQL Server. Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access). Preferred Experience with document printing applications such as BI Publisher or similar. Experience with third-party applications including DSI, ERP2WEB, SnapPay, Bottomline, Vertex, and ReportsNow. Experience establishing IT governance, cybersecurity controls, and vendor management practices in a regulated environment.
