Your Opportunity The position summary states the general nature and purpose of the job. Overall accountabilities are defined in this section. The Senior Manager, IT Strategy and Delivery manages client relationships and all aspects of technology delivery and support for partners, including overall responsibility for IT delivery and value realization. This position partners with the business for innovative opportunities, solution evaluations, and confirms solution requirements in order to lead end to end solution delivery within time and budget constraints. This position works closely with their assigned business teams for planning, delivery and sustainment of deployed solutions. Key capabilities will be the ability to work with/influence senior leaders, manage budgets and deliver on projects. The Senior Manager, IT Strategy and Delivery has decision-making authority for small - large projects and will facilitate communications and presentations with executive leadership. Core Responsibilities Business relationship linkage between the business units and IT, at multiple levels including the executive level. Drive decisions, set priorities, and communicate relevant project information to appropriate levels of the organization regarding business unit requests, projects, and initiatives. Proactively shares knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of business units Define strategic initiatives and plans, proactive, anticipator and driving in nature and provides significant value to business units. Owns and manages the planning and execution of business changes through the use of technology Works closely with program managers and IT Delivery teams for feature and project delivery Define the strategy for integrating/combining systems by providing a technology perspective, influencing, and ensuring alignment of IT strategy with business strategy within the sub-function or region. Responsible for technology and business process innovation within a particular business area to enable front line competitive position and manages a portfolio of services to address business needs within a sub-function or region. Guides research, supports pilots, and investigates potential solutions to help anticipate the business needs and communicates solution recommendations that support business requirements to business partners. Manages a team for identifying, assessing, and promoting the use of new technologies for increased productivity or new capabilities for the business. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required. 5+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership is required. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in an IT project leadership role with specific emphasis on IT governance functions and working with in a PMO framework, required. Ability to lead and manage under conditions of ambiguity and uncertainty. Proven organizational skills in working across organizational boundaries and reporting lines Ability to work in a matrix environment as required. Demonstrated discipline, analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to details. Demonstrated ability to understand and prioritize IT projects according to business benefit. Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with peers and executive leadership. Strong leadership and management skills, including facilitating change, driving operational excellence, and striving for continuous improvement. Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment. Supervisory Responsibilities Management responsibility for business analyst(s) assigned to the functional area Provides leadership and guidance to employees within IT. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and assisting in providing appropriate resolutions.
