NATURE OF WORK
Under the direction of the Infrastructure and Operations Manager, the Infrastructure and Operations Engineer is responsible for assisting City employees with various infrastructure issues, overseeing the fiber optic network, and resolving end-user issues through the helpdesk ticketing system.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
An example of acceptable qualifications: Possession of a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience required. Must possess and maintain a valid State of Ohio driver's license and must remain insurable under the City's vehicle insurance policy. Any combination of education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the minimum qualifications stated above.
