Position Introduction:
Join the Center for Public Management (OU CPM) at the University of Oklahoma and be part of a team dedicated to making a daily impact in the lives of Oklahomans. The Technology Solutions Manager is responsible for the administration and management of day-to-day operations of the Technology Solutions team, leads and manages Technology Solutions staff, provides administrative oversight and support on all Technology Solutions projects and initiatives. Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree. 36 months in management, leadership, or project experience.
Equivalency/Substitution :
Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 84 months of experience.
Required Certifications and Licenses:
Valid Oklahoma Driver's License in order to drive University vehicles.
Department Preferences:
2+ years of demonstrated experience leading technology-based programs, products, or initiatives, including project planning, execution, risk management, and evaluation. 2+ years of experience supervising or leading staff in a technical or technology-adjacent environment, including developers, analysts, instructional technologists, or solution specialists. Experience contributing to or overseeing application and web-based solutions, including AI tools and content management systems. Ability to collaborate with designers and developers to ensure usability, performance, accessibility, and alignment with organizational standards. Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Totara, Moodle, or comparable platforms), including implementation, configuration, enhancement, integration, or governance of learning technologies and digital content delivery systems. Experience applying Universal Design principles and accessibility standards within technology solutions, including training, consultation, or quality review. Working knowledge of Section 508 and
WCAG 2.2
standards and their practical application in digital products. Hiring Contingent Upon a
