DESCRIPTION

Assist the IT Product Manager with lifecycle management of an IT product (application family), triage inbound requests for the product manager such as bug fixes or new projects. Act on behalf of the IT Product Manager to interact with project teams and assist the IT Product Manager with the tactical activities related to product management. Assist IT PM with translating business requirements into an IT product/ services roadmap for one or more major product areas. Accountable for overall delivery of a set of integrated, technically sound solutions for the assigned products. Work with business analysts as a proxy for IT PM to develop requirements documents and use cases for new product / service features. Coordinate with DevOps Portfolio Release Lead to ensure all planned releases are integrated into the product release schedule. Consolidate the status of all projects / programs impacting assigned and create a dashboard view. Collaborate with delivery leads to develop project milestones and facilitate development and testing progress against milestones. Complete resource requisition forms for the Dev Center and sequence resources to align with business priorities. Participate as a proxy for IT PM in Scrum daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives and scrum of scrums. Identify product interdependencies across projects and remove product impediments.

Telecommuting:

Flex role (3 days in office / 2 days remote).

REQUIREMENTS

This position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or in a related field and 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Developer, IT Product Manager, or in a related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have experience with: (1) Application development platforms and/or languages (HTML/CSS/Java/ASP.Net/PHCSC/Ruby/C#); (2) Cloud computing (SaaS / PaaS); (3) DevOps and/or continuous deployment and/or integration process and tools (Bamboo, jenkins, RallyDev, Jira); (4) Integration technologies (Tibco/Informatica/CAS); (5) Iterative, agile and/or scrum development; (6) Product-specific application architecture; (7) Solution architecture; and (8) Application domain.

RATE OF PAY
