This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape the future of banking technology, ensuring robust security, seamless operations, and cutting-edge solutions. As an energetic leader, you will oversee the development, implementation, and management of our IT infrastructure, aligning technological strategies with business goals to deliver exceptional service and operational excellence. Duties Develop and execute comprehensive IT strategies tailored to banking operations, focusing on security, scalability, and innovation. Lead the design, deployment, and management of core banking systems, including ERP systems, databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server), and data warehouses. Oversee enterprise-wide cybersecurity measures, ensuring compliance with PCI standards, NIST frameworks, and industry best practices for information security. Manage cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure to optimize infrastructure flexibility and cost-efficiency. Supervise network infrastructure including VPNs, MPLS networks, DNS management, firewall configurations, WAN/LAN architecture, and network security protocols. Drive system administration tasks across virtualization platforms like vSphere and SAN storage solutions to ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness. Lead vendor management efforts for IT hardware/software procurement while maintaining strong relationships with service providers. Implement change management processes aligned with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) principles to ensure smooth project execution. Promote a culture of continuous improvement through Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and innovative application development using technologies such as React, Angular, Node.js, Python, JavaScript, PHP, .NET, Java, C#, and Machine Learning models. Oversee IT governance policies that support business continuity planning and risk management strategies for banking operations. Manage budgets effectively while prioritizing projects that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. Lead cross-functional teams in system design projects involving APIs integration with ERP systems and third-party services to streamline workflows. Requirements Proven experience as an IT Director or senior leadership role within the banking or financial services industry. Extensive knowledge of banking-specific compliance standards such as PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) and NIST standards for cybersecurity. Strong expertise in cloud platforms including AWS and Azure; experience with virtualization technologies like vSphere is essential. Deep understanding of network infrastructure components such as VPNs, MPLS networks, DNS management, firewall configurations, WAN/LAN architecture, DNS management tools like Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory. Proficiency in database management systems including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB; experience with ETL processes is preferred. Skilled in software development frameworks including React Express, AngularJS/Angular 2+, Node.js; familiarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript/PHP/.NET/Java/C# is required. Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale projects utilizing Agile methodologies; experience with DevOps practices is advantageous. Strong analysis skills combined with leadership capabilities to manage diverse teams effectively across multiple IT disciplines. Knowledge of business continuity planning, disaster recovery strategies, system design principles, and information security best practices aligned with industry standards such as NIST. Excellent communication skills for engaging senior leadership stakeholders; negotiation skills for vendor management are highly valued.
