$125,000 annually Position Description We are seeking an experienced IT General Manager to lead and scale enterprise technology operations across Information Technology (IT) and Information Systems (IS). This is a strategic leadership role responsible for aligning technology initiatives with business objectives while ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing systems within a manufacturing environment. This role will oversee enterprise applications (including ERP systems), IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of IT leadership, ERP expertise (SAP preferred), infrastructure management, and cybersecurity strategy , along with a proven ability to lead teams and drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Strategic IT Leadership & Digital Transformation Develop and execute IT strategy aligned with business goals and operational growth Partner with executive leadership to drive innovation, automation, and efficiency Define and implement short- and long-term technology roadmaps Lead digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives Enterprise Systems & ERP (SAP/S4HANA) Oversee ERP systems, MES, business intelligence tools, and enterprise applications Lead system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and optimization efforts Ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and system governance Establish change management, documentation, and best practices IT Infrastructure & Operations Manage IT infrastructure including networks, servers, cloud environments, and end-user support Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of all systems Oversee hardware/software lifecycle management and standardization Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans Cybersecurity & Risk Management Develop and maintain cybersecurity strategy, policies, and controls Ensure compliance with security standards, regulations, and best practices Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies Lead incident response planning and security awareness programs Financial & Vendor Management Manage IT budgets, capital planning, and cost optimization initiatives Negotiate vendor contracts and manage third-party technology partners Ensure technology investments deliver measurable ROI Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and develop IT and IS teams to drive performance and engagement Establish KPIs, accountability, and professional development plans Foster cross-functional collaboration with operations, finance, and leadership Promote a culture of innovation, service excellence, and continuous improvement Required Skills / Education 10+ years of experience in IT, ERP systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity 8+ years of progressive IT leadership or management experience Strong expertise in ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred), MES, and enterprise applications Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud environments, and system architecture Experience with cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards Proven experience in manufacturing or industrial environments Strong project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with SAP, server systems, backup solutions, and wireless networks Familiarity with production floor systems and user support in manufacturing environments Experience managing cross-functional teams and enterprise-scale IT operations Work Environment Hybrid work environment including office and manufacturing production floor Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and industrial conditions Combination of desk-based work and on-site operational support About Seneca Resources At Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firm—we are a trusted career partner.
