About the Role The IT Manager serves as the primary point of contact for all technology-related needs across the organization. This role is responsible for delivering excellent internal customer experience, ensuring reliable day-to-day IT operations, and managing relationships with external IT vendors and service providers. The IT Manager balances hands-on problem solving with oversight and coordination, ensuring technology enables productivity, security, and business growth. This position is primarily in‑office (4 days per week), with one remote workday per week permitted in accordance with company policy. Key Responsibilities Internal Customer Service & Support Act as the first point of contact for all internal IT requests, issues, and questions. Deliver timely, professional, and friendly support to employees at all levels of the organization. Own the resolution of IT issues from intake through completion, ensuring clear communication and follow-up. Identify recurring issues and proactively recommend improvements to systems, tools, or processes. IT Operations & Systems Management Oversee day-to-day operation of internal IT systems including hardware, software, networks, and collaboration tools. Manage onboarding and offboarding technology needs (equipment, access, permissions). Maintain documentation for systems, procedures, licenses, and asset tracking. Ensure data security, backups, and access controls are maintained in alignment with company policies. Vendor & Partner Management Serve as the primary liaison with external IT vendors, managed service providers, telecom providers, and software partners. Coordinate troubleshooting, projects, renewals, and escalations with vendors as needed. Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements or changes. Manage vendor contracts, subscriptions, and related budgets in partnership with leadership. Planning, Improvement & Oversight Partner with leadership and departments to understand technology needs and align solutions with business goals. Recommend and help implement new tools or system enhancements that improve efficiency and user experience. Support IT-related projects such as system implementations, upgrades, or office expansions. Maintain awareness of best practices in IT service delivery, security, and operational reliability. Who You Are

- Model professionalism, discretion, and integrity in all situations Qualifications & Experience Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in an IT support, IT management, or systems administration role. Strong internal customer service mindset with the ability to communicate clearly with non-technical users. Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional upgrade and implementation projects; Experience coordinating with external vendors or managed service providers. Solid understanding of common business technology tools and willingness to learn business technology tools. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change management skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a small‑to‑mid‑size company environment. Prior responsibility for IT budgeting, vendor contracts, or IT road mapping. Passion for AI and implementation of AI into business practices. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and access controls.
