This position plays an important role in helping worship services, livestreams, events, and digital communications run smoothly. The Media & Technical Director will manage sound and livestream elements for Sunday worship, prepare and operate audio/visual equipment, assist with visual media needs, and provide technical support for special services and church-wide events. This role will also help maintain website content, create and schedule social media updates, and coordinate with church staff regarding worship, communications, and event needs. Primary responsibilities:
Manage sound and livestream elements for Sunday worship services Prepare, test, and operate audio/visual equipment for worship and events Provide technical support for special services and church-wide events Maintain and update church website content as directed by staff Create and schedule social media updates for worship services, events, and ministries Assist with visual media or presentation elements used in worship Participate in worship planning or communications meetings as requested Coordinate with pastoral staff regarding technical and media needs Help maintain media, sound, and livestream equipment Identify equipment needs or technical issues and communicate them to staff leadership Preferred qualifications: Experience with sound systems, livestreaming, or audio/visual technology Familiarity with website content management systems and social media platforms Basic audio/video production or livestream experience Strong organization and attention to detail Ability to troubleshoot technical issues during live services Ability to work collaboratively with church staff and volunteers Dependability, professionalism, and comfort working in a church environment
