Role SummaryThe Network Engineering Manager is responsible for leading a team of network professionals and overseeing the performance, reliability, and security of enterprise network infrastructure across multiple sites. This role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the network environment effectively supports institutional priorities. The position is primarily managerial, with a focus on guiding teams, managing projects, and driving continuous improvement.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of network engineers, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growthOversee the design, implementation, and support of enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performanceEstablish and enforce standards, policies, and best practices for network operations and systems administrationManage multiple large-scale, concurrent projects, including planning, execution, and progress reportingPartner with stakeholders across the organization to align network initiatives with business and academic needsOversee vendor relationships, contracts, and renewals to ensure optimal service delivery and cost efficiencyEnsure accurate documentation, inventory management, and operational reporting for network systemsDrive continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating emerging technologies and industry best practicesAct as a primary point of contact for network-related services, escalations, and strategic initiativesPromote strong communication and collaboration between technical teams and non-technical stakeholdersCompensation & Benefits$135,000 - $150,000 annuallyComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverageRetirement plan with employer contributionGenerous paid time off, holidays, and sick leaveTuition assistance or educational support programs
