This role is responsible for managing audio, video, and media systems, as well as leading a volunteer tech team to ensure a high-quality worship experience both in-person and online.

Key Responsibilities Audio Engineer:

Oversee or serve as the primary sound engineer for English worship services and special events.

Media Content Management:

Oversee or personally set up all ProPresenter files, including song lyrics, and sermon slides (prepared by the preacher).

Post-Production:

Oversee the recording and weekly upload of sermon audio to our RSS/podcast platform.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, schedule, and provide ongoing training for all tech volunteer positions.

Cross-Ministry Support:

Provide technical guidance and support for the English, Korean, and Spanish language services.

System Maintenance:

Maintain all A/V equipment (Soundboard, PCs/Macs, Lighting, Cameras, cables, recharging batteries, etc.), handling repair services or purchasing necessary supplies as needed.

Logistics:

Lead the efficient setup and teardown of equipment for services, including outdoor or special events.

Qualifications & Skill Mix Technical Proficiency:

A solid foundation in live audio mixing and a strong understanding of ProPresenter , Ableton Live , and Mac OS .

Troubleshooting:

Ability to think quickly and solve technical issues under pressure.

Leadership:

A heart for ministry and a desire to shepherd volunteers, prioritizing a "heart of worship" over mere production.

Physical Ability:

Capable of lifting 30 pounds and moving A/V equipment for weekly setup and teardown.

Employment Status Part-Time, Hourly:

Up to 20 hours per week.

Set Schedule:

At church Wednesdays (6:00 PM•10:00 PM) and Sundays (7:00 AM•1:00 PM), plus special events with A/V needs.

Flexibility:

Remaining hours are flexible for remote work (administration, prep, and weekly meetings with the Worship Pastor).

Compensation:

$23•26 per hour (based on experience).
