Senior Manager, Corporate IT
Position Description:
Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Senior Manager, Corporate IT with our client located in Austin, TX.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead corporate IT service delivery spanning networking, identity and access management (IAM), service desk operations, collaboration tools, end-user experience, and cloud platform administration (SaaS, Microsoft 365, Atlassian governance, licensing, and optimization), ensuring scalable and reliable support for engineering and business teams. Drive modernization initiatives by assessing current-state infrastructure, identifying technical debt and operational gaps, and executing prioritized improvement roadmaps across enterprise IT services within the contract window. Build and drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement by mentoring IT professionals, enhancing operational processes, and enabling high-performing service and infrastructure teams. Champion operational excellence through SLA and KPI development, service health monitoring, end-to-end incident management, escalation leadership, and root-cause-driven business problem resolution. Strengthen partnerships with engineering leadership, R D organizations, and corporate stakeholders to align IT services with evolving business and technical requirements.
Job Qualifications:
12+ years of progressive IT experience, including significant experience leading technical teams Strong experience leading corporate IT operations and enterprise service delivery within technically sophisticated environments Demonstrated success modernizing IT environments and improving operational maturity, service quality, and scalable IT processes Working knowledge of enterprise networking, identity and access management (SSO, MFA, lifecycle management), service desk operations, end-userputing, collaboration platforms, and cloud/SaaS administration Experience administering enterprise productivity and collaboration platforms, including Microsoft 365 and Atlassian product suites Strong understanding of IT service management, operational metrics, incident response, escalation management, and continuous improvement methodologies Excellentmunication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and executive leadership in fast-paced environments Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing technical teams and driving operational accountability Preferred Qualifications Hands-on technical expertise in one or more infrastructure or enterprise IT domains Prior experience supporting R D, engineering, or technically-focused organizations Experience leading enterprise IT modernization or transformation initiatives Familiarity operating in a semiconductor industry or similarplex, fast-paced, deep-tech environments.
