Job Description
Job Summary:
The IT Manager is a key member of the Arbinger IT team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization's technology infrastructure. This role ensures reliable delivery of IT services, including company computers, networks, servers, enterprise applications, email, and internet access. The position focuses on supporting business needs through effective systems management, strong team leadership, and continuous improvement of IT services.Roles and Responsibilities:
Oversee daily IT operations including systems, networks, and help desk support. Desktop support for Windows 11 and Mac operating systems. Support for Android and iPhone business applications Monitor system performance and security and ensure reliable and secure IT services. Partner with internal stakeholders to understand technology needs and provide solutions. Assist in planning and implementing improvements to IT infrastructure. Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers. Support procurement and inventory of IT equipment. Contribute to maintaining secure systems, backups, and data integrity. Help establish and follow IT best practices and operational standards. Participate in team development using Arbinger's 3A+ framework. Other duties as assigned.Required Capabilities:
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Solid understanding of IT systems including networking, servers, and security basics. Experience with Microsoft technologies (Office 365, Exchange, Azure, Intune, Defender). Basic networking knowledge (firewalls, switches, routers). Strong customer-service mindset with a focus on supporting internal users.Preferred Capabilities:
Experience managing IT infrastructure projects. Familiarity with asset management practices. Exposure to security frameworks (e.g., SOC 2) or compliance environments. Experience with identity management tools such as Okta. Experience working with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with modern technologies such as cloud platforms and AI tools is a plus.Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). 4-6 years of experience in IT or related roles.Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.Employee Benefits:
