About This Job Air and Space Force Solutions, a business unit within BAE Systems, has an opening at our Hill Air Force Base, Utah location for an IT Operations Team Manager for the Network Engineering team. The selected candidate will join our Information Services team and have an important role in supporting our mission of Strategic Deterrence through continual improvement and innovation. The position will have the following duties and responsibilities: Supervising multiple staff, including recruiting/hiring, training/personnel development, coaching and counseling employees, technical reviews, and business continuity Provide technical oversight and recommended paths forward for implementation of technical solutions Ensure high uptime of information systems, taking into account high availability, capacity planning, and disaster recovery Identify technology opportunities and develop system strategies and roadmaps Ensure best practices are followed Identify and implement system and process improvements Track service metrics, review problems, incidents, and delays and seek improvement opportunities Analyze and document processes and procedures Develop, and assist in the development of external and internal reporting and briefing Ability to present complex technical issues and solutions to an unskilled audience Perform other duties as assigned What's In It For You Competitive wages Medical Dental 401k Paid time off Work/life balance Career development Tuition reimbursement Mentorship opportunities Rewards & recognition Work Location Hill Air Force Base, Utah Travel
