IT Tier 2 Support Technician (DLI-W)

Summary:

The IT Tier 2 Support Technician will serve as a

IMO & ISO

Representative.

Responsibilities Essential Job Functions:

Monitors conventional & web applications; assesses knowledge management needs; identifies & obtains required resources; provides oversight, planning coordination w/ Garrison IT requirements; initiates & forwards Requests for Services to the NEC; acts as liaison to the NEC for repair of IT equipment; monitors all common-user C4/IT baseline services; coordinates backup & archive services. The person supports the commander/director/chief for coordination service. It includes advice, planning, & coordination of all IM/IT requirements (business & mission) for their organization. The IMO representative assists commander/ director/chief in effectively managing the organization's IM/IT processes & resources that enable the organization's business & mission processes.

Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's degree from an accredited college or university Substitute w/ 3+ years of experience

Training, Certifications, EXP, & Clearance Requirements:

IAT Level II (CCNA Security/CSA+/GICSP/GSEC/Security+ CE/SSCP) Cert. & applicable CE/OS Cert. & Windows or Apple Cert. Mac Tech. Experience providing customer support (tier 1 & tier 2 help-desk support). The IMO task is to provide requests for service to DOIM. Ensure installed IT products are supported by the vendor for security patches to address publicly known security vulnerabilities.
