Job Description

Job DescriptionECS is seeking an IT Operations Technician [Tier 3] - Journeyman to support advanced IT operations and enterprise system management within the Army National Guard's (ARNG) expansive network infrastructure.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.

Task 4 — Enterprise Operations Support — provides 24/7/365 network monitoring, control, and management from the
RCC-ARNG
Network Operations Center (NOC) over classified and unclassified networks, delivering DoDIN services including data, voice, and video across the ARNG's distributed enterprise infrastructure.

ResponsibilitiesResolve advanced user and system issues impacting mission operations efficiently.

Perform complex troubleshooting for hardware and software, ensuring minimal downtime.

Support escalated service tickets by conducting thorough root cause analysis.

Validate and document remediation actions, maintaining detailed resolution records.

Coordinate with infrastructure, network, and hosting teams to restore services promptly.

Ensure compliance with operational procedures and service-level objectives.

Lead efforts in system migrations and upgrades, ensuring operational standards are met.

Manage and administer ServiceNow ITSM, enhancing service management processes.

Utilize VMware virtualization and Active Directory for effective system management.

DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 411-Technical Support Specialist at the Intermediate proficiency levelCertifications (one or more required): CND, GFACT, GSEC, Security+
Education:
Bachelors in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]Extensive experience in IT operations and enterprise infrastructure managementProficient in ServiceNow ITSM administration and complex incident resolutionStrong background in VMware virtualization and Active Directory managementProven track record in leading critical system migrations and upgradesExperience maintaining operational performance standards in DoD environments
