Director of Information Technology 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 1402 Freedom Road, Little Chute, WI 54140 From $80,000 a year - Full-time Little Chute Area School District 2 reviews From $80,000 a year - Full-time Little Chute Area School District is seeking a motivated individual with technology savvy to join our Leadership Team. LCASD is a one-to-one device (iPads and Chromebooks) district. Responsibilities and roles include coordinating the installation, maintenance and operation of voice, data and video systems. Acts as Chief Technology Officer for the Little Chute Community Area Network (LC CAN). Acts as Systems Administrator for the District's Student Information System (SIS). Develops and implements a long-range technology plan, identifying and recommending new technology solutions. Develops reliable metrics for monitoring hardware, software and storage while ensuring strategic capacity planning. Responsible for all aspects of Cybersecurity. This includes staff training, data protection, intrusion prevention and disaster recovery functions including leadership of the Cybersecurity Incident Response team. Assists in the administration of contracted services including telecommunications services, managed support services, and leasing agent services. Prepares an annual technology budget, and participates in the budget planning process. Prepares grant proposals and annual eRate submissions designed to secure additional funding for the school district in the area of technology. Maintains a full inventory of technology equipment, and secures appropriate network software licensure. Directs and prioritizes the workload of IT staff to enhance current technologies to improve client services. Manages IT staff, which includes hiring, training, guidance, and discipline. Effectively communicates with administrative and curriculum development teams. Participates in staff development initiatives. Facilitates the implementation of the District's vision for the use of present and emerging technology designed to improve the teaching/learning process. Performs other duties assigned by the District Administrator. The position also requires knowledge of or willingness to master the student information system (Infinite Campus) Google Suite and DPI WiseDash Suite.
