Job Description:
Our team is looking for an experienced IT M&A Program Manager to lead the technology work required to integrate or separate software companies and products during mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. This role owns the full IT M&A lifecycle for software products, from due diligence and deal shaping through integration planning, execution, go-live, and post-merger optimization. You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Corporate Development, Security, Finance, Legal, and IT leadership to turn deal strategy into well-executed technical programs. What you'll do: Lead software and technology due diligence for M&A targets Assess application architecture, cloud environments, DevOps practices, data models, security posture, and scalability Define and execute IT integration strategies across platforms, applications, infrastructure, data, and security Drive integration roadmaps for code repositories, CI/CD pipelines, production environments, APIs, enterprise systems, and cloud alignment Manage cross-functional execution, governance, RAID logs, milestones, and stakeholder communications Build and refine a repeatable IT M&A runbook for software product deals Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks while managing budgets, resources, and vendor engagements What we're looking for: 8+ years of experience in technical program management or IT program management in software product or platform environments Strong experience leading IT or technology workstreams for M&A, divestitures, or large-scale software integrations Deep understanding of modern software architectures, cloud platforms, data integration, CI/CD, DevOps, and security Proven ability to manage complex, multi-workstream programs with executive visibility Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders Nice to have: PMP, PgMP, or similar certification Experience integrating SaaS platforms and subscription-based software businesses Familiarity with cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance frameworks such as
SOC 2, ISO
27001, GDPR, and CCPA Experience in high-growth technology environments or consulting If you've led technology integrations in fast-paced software environments and know how to balance deal value, execution, and risk, we'd love to connect. Pay range and compensation package The hourly pay range for this position is $60 to $70 on a W2 basis. As a contract/temporary professional, you are eligible for medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance coverage. You may also enroll in our company's 401(k) plan.
