Job Summary The Project Coordinator / IT Administrator oversees the integrity of the information systems and technology platforms used in Revenue Cycle Management/Operations. This position ensures that all systems and processes align with regulatory standards and organizational policies, optimizing system performance and ensuring data integrity. The administrator collaborates with Management and operational teams to maintain and enhance system functionality, drive efficiencies, and support accurate billing and coding processes. 1.
System Integrity:
Ensure the integrity of all information systems used in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) operations. Monitor and evaluate system performance, identifying and addressing potential inefficiencies. Maintain a strict level of confidentiality for all matters pertaining to Zymeda projects and clients.
System Optimization and Maintenance:
Oversee Practice Management systems' maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation. Complete system edits with input from RCM and Analytics teams. Conduct system updates pertaining to fee schedules, contractual allowables, insurance, CPT and ICD-9 codes, providers, locations and any other pertinent data. Coordinate with RCM and IT staff to resolve technical issues, minimize system downtime, and develop and implement strategies to optimize system performance and efficiency.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with IT and RCM teams to ensure system alignment with organizational goals. Communicate system changes, updates, and issues effectively across the organization. Coordinate and interact with client and staff members as required.
Project Management:
Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in support of the Analytics department. Participate in system-related projects, including upgrades, implementations, and integrations. Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within scope. Coordinate with vendors and external partners as needed. Conduct research on a range of varied subjects using phone, web, and other applicable methods to obtain information, analyze data, and prepare reports and documents as necessary.
Training and Support:
Provide training and support to staff on system use, best practices, and new features or updates. Develop and maintain documentation of system processes, policies, and procedures. Address user inquiries and troubleshoot system issues promptly and effectively. Conduct EMR and other system training as requested. Attends training and/or seminars as requested.
Data Integrity and Reporting:
Ensure data integrity across all systems and platforms, implementing controls and checks as necessary. Ensure accurate and efficient completion of month-end closing procedures for all practices, including preparation of month-end reports and distribution. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in system administration, or a related role, preferably within healthcare industry but not required.
Analytical Skills:
Analyzing complex technical issues and developing practical solutions. Uses intuition and experience to complement data. Attention to

High level of accuracy in maintaining and auditing system integrity.
Excel Basic knowledge:
Pivot Tables; spreadsheets, etc
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical staff.
Problem-solving:
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Leadership:
Proven leadership abilities, including project management and team coordination.
