JOB SUMMARY
This is an entry-level to early career administrative/project coordination role in the cybersecurity compliance arena. Deep technical configuration experience is not required. As our CMMC Project Manager, you will bridge the gap between supplied policies and internal execution. You will develop into our internal subject matter expert, working closely alongside our Managed IT Services Provider (MSP). JOB DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES and
AUTHORITIES 1.
Act as the primary point of contact for our managed IT partner, ensuring their service delivery aligns with CMMC controls 2. Translate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) into simplistic training items 3. Review scans provided by the MSP, identify weaknesses, and oversee the remediation process 4. Build and maintain Plans of Action and Milestones related to the CMMCC process 5. Any and all other duties assigned by management
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1. A
Bachelor's degree preferably in computer science, or related field 2. Basic understanding of the fundamentals of networking (IP addresses, ports, protocols) and operating systems 3. Ability to take multiple procedures and generate "to-do lists" for various tasks to be completed by others. Then monitor these tasks to completion. 4. Interest in cybersecurity, IT, or compliance work 5. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn 6. Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external technical teams (MSPs)
