Secret IT Project Manager

Job Description A client of Insight Global's is looking for a Secret IT Project Manager to join their team! This IT PM will play a key role in supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This position is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of IT projects—from planning and execution to successful completion—within defined scope, budget, and timeline. The IT Project Manager ensures that each project aligns with business goals and is delivered to meet or exceed expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee all phases of project management, including planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, closure, and post-project evaluation.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders across multiple geographic locations.
• Develop and manage IT strategic plans and budgets to align with organizational goals.
• Create, maintain, and ensure accuracy of comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Continuously monitor and analyze industry trends to inform strategic decisions and maintain competitive advantage. This position is onsite full-time in Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL the salary range for this role is between $100,000
• 135,000 depending on years and level of experience, education, and certifications.

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
• 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management, with a proven track record of successfully leading high-budget initiatives
• Strong working knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and emerging technologies.
• Demonstrated expertise in vendor and stakeholder negotiations, driving favorable outcomes and strategic partnerships.
• CAPM (Certified Associate of Project Management) certification
• PMP Certification ITIL Certification
• Have Earned Value Management and Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience
• Experience managing geographically dispersed teams
• Experience managing projects in waterfall or agile methodologies
