Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex technology initiatives across diverse enterprise environments. In this role, you will drive the successful planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects by leveraging your expertise in project management methodologies, cloud computing, and enterprise software solutions. Your leadership will ensure projects align with organizational goals, adhere to best practices, and deliver maximum value. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence digital transformation efforts while fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams. Duties using tools like Microsoft Project, Visio, and Project management software such as VersionOne and Jira. Manage project schedules and budgets effectively through project scheduling techniques and risk management strategies to ensure timely delivery. Oversee the development of enterprise software applications, ensuring adherence to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), test-driven development practices, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Facilitate communication among technical teams, vendors, and business units to ensure clarity on project objectives and deliverables. Monitor project progress through metrics such as KPIs and status reports; adjust plans proactively to address issues or delays. Lead release management efforts, disaster recovery planning, and IT governance initiatives to uphold security standards and compliance requirements. Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices in project management methodology, including Scrum/Kanban boards in Jira or Trello for task tracking. Support the integration of cloud computing solutions like AWS into existing infrastructure while managing dependencies related to databases (SQL, Oracle) and IT infrastructure components. Experience Proven experience managing large-scale IT projects within enterprise environments using Agile (SAFe), Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies. Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS along with experience in IT infrastructure design and implementation. Demonstrated ability to manage complex software development projects involving requirements gathering, analysis skills, testing (including test cases), and deployment. Familiarity with project management tools including Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Visio, VersionOne, Jira, TFS (Team Foundation Server), and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Expertise in program management principles with a focus on release management, organizational skills, and leadership capabilities. Solid understanding of databases like SQL and Oracle; experience in data analysis and reporting is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively among stakeholders at all levels. Knowledge of IT governance frameworks and disaster recovery strategies to ensure system resilience and compliance standards are met. Strong time management skills combined with analysis skills necessary for effective project scheduling and prioritization. $75,117.99 - $95,000.00 per year
