Position Responsibilities:
This position requires the ability to gather information from multiple sources, analyze and summarize data , and draw conclusions to make informed decisions. The individual will utilize policies, existing knowledge bases, and available tools to formulate recommendations. The employee must assimilate customer requirements, apply standard IS methodologies , and gather information from various sources when designing solutions for business needs on projects with a defined scope. This role is largely self-directed , working within a general framework established by management for the analysis, design, testing, and implementation of business or clinical systems. The employee may be required to access information considered confidential or protected by the organization to support the implementation and maintenance of systems. All activities must comply with relevant policies and procedures related to the use, disclosure, and security of protected information , as well as policies governing the security of the organization's information systems .
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education:
Associate's Degree (AA or AS) from an accredited college/university plus 1 year of relevant work experience required. Equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. A Bachelor's degree may be substituted for experience.
Relevant Work Experience:
Examples include: Healthcare experience EMR system experience ( Epic preferred ) Data analytics Project management Programming/coding Technical problem-solving System implementation coordination
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of and experience using software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
Other Skills:
Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
Trainee Consideration:
Applicants within six months of meeting the minimum education/experience requirement may be considered for trainee status .
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
None Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:
Employees in this position will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a non-frequent driver .
