Job Description

Introduction:

The IT Project Manager will serve as a Team Lead for a long-term opportunity in Tallahassee, Florida. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing IT projects involving software development, infrastructure initiatives, data migration projects, and governance and compliance programs. They will also need to have strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, and expertise in project budgeting and financial management.

Responsibilities:

Manage IT projects involving software development, infrastructure initiatives, data migration projects, and governance and compliance programs Utilize Agile/Scrum methodologies to lead project teams Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for project management Manage project budgets and financial resources efficiently Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques and monitor CPI and SPI metrics Effectively communicate with stakeholders and manage relationships Lead cross-functional teams to successfully deliver complex projects

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience managing IT projects involving software development, infrastructure initiatives, data migration projects, and governance and compliance programs Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Project budgeting and financial management skills Expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM), CPI, and SPI metrics Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects successfully

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP Certification (highly preferred) Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or other relevant certifications Experience working in government or public-sector environments is a plus
