Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager to oversee and drive the success of large-scale IT projects within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role requires an experienced, detail-oriented individual with a strategic mindset, capable of managing complex project scopes, optimizing resources, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Based in Carrollton, Georgia, the position offers an exciting opportunity to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver impactful results.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgets, and alignment with technical quality standards.
  • Coordinate project planning, resource allocation, and subcontractor management to optimize performance and meet objectives.
  • Develop and implement robust methodologies for project management, using industry best practices to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions to address deviations from plans.
  • Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, third-party vendors, and internal teams to ensure clarity on project goals and expectations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing to achieve project milestones.
  • Analyze project data to generate actionable insights, recommending improvements to optimize delivery and outcomes.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced team members, supporting their detail-oriented growth and development within the organization.
  • Advise senior management on project progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations to enhance success.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards throughout project execution. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on SAP or ERP systems.
  • Certification such as PMP or an equivalent credential.
  • Strong expertise in project scheduling, risk management, and resource planning.
  • Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and other project management methodologies.
  • Experience with tools such as Microsoft Project and Salesforce Development.
  • Advanced skills in API development, configuration management, and client-side scripting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage cross-functional teams and stakeholder interactions.
