Job Description

Job Description A client is seeking a Test Delivery Manager to support a large‑scale ERP transformation and enterprise application modernization initiative. This role will be responsible for driving end‑to‑end test planning, coordination, and execution across significantly increasing test scope and complexity. The Test Delivery Manager will partner closely with application development, enterprise architects, and automation engineers to define what "good" test execution looks like, ensure readiness across test cycles, and provide clear, executive‑level visibility into testing progress, risks, and decisions. This role is highly cross‑functional and non‑automation focused, emphasizing test governance, execution management, and stakeholder communication. Integrated Test Planning & Schedule Management
  • Own and maintain the integrated test calendar across multiple test cycles and releases.
  • Ensure test dependencies, environments, and data readiness are visible, aligned, and actively managed.
  • Coordinate testing activities across a growing portfolio of business scenarios (e.g., 120+ scenarios in earlier phases, expanding to 180+). Test Execution Leadership
  • Help define what effective test execution means in a scaled, enterprise ERP environment.
  • Coordinate manual and automated testing efforts in partnership with application development teams, architects, and automation engineers.
  • Ensure testing readiness and entry/exit criteria are clearly established and met for each test cycle. Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
  • Proactively manage test‑related RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) items.
  • Identify escalation paths and drive issue resolution to minimize impact on downstream milestones. Status Reporting & Executive Communication
  • Develop and deliver clear, concise testing status updates for executive and Phoenix program leadership.
  • Communicate progress, risks, mitigation plans, and decisions required in a way that supports timely leadership action. Meeting & Cadence Ownership
  • Own recurring testing forums, including:
  • Test readiness reviews
  • Defect triage sessions
  • Go / No‑Go checkpoints
  • Drive agendas, document decisions, track action items, and ensure follow‑through to closure. Tester Onboarding & Capacity Management
  • Confirm tester onboarding, availability, and allocations for each test cycle.
  • Coordinate with on‑shore and offshore teams to ensure adequate coverage and readiness as test volume increases.
