In a nutshell:

The Applications Manager is responsible for overseeing all demonstration activities, feasibility studies and time studies. The manager will be responsible for ensuring working status of the machines in the showroom and the continuous progress and improvement of the application team.

What you will be doing:

Responsible for reviewing and ensuring accuracy of time studies and feasibility studies completed by internal department staff members Accountable for managing and overseeing the coordination and scheduling of demo activities for internal and external customers Accountable for managing and overseeing the preparation and execution of demonstration of any product of the Bystronic portfolio Maintain all demonstration equipment and showroom in top of the line condition Accountable for training and coaching the appications team to provide best in class demonstrations Assist when needed in all demonstration activities Support and cooperate other departments with new products market launches, customer support, machine runoff, and any highly technical activity Participate in product sales training for new employees Create and organize training updates for the technical team and sales team on functionality and value of new software, features or machines Manage aspects of trade show booth presentations and demonstrations Key tasks and

Responsibilities:

Manage the customer demonstration schedule and efficiently communicate with external and internal customers to best coordinate the activities Develop the technical knowledge and skills of the team Provide reports on the department's performance, revenue and cost Maintain and guarantee a good working status of the machines used during customers demonstrations Design and manage comprehensive feasibility reports to facilitate customers' understanding of the technology and added value of Bystronic equipment Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize promotional and sales strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business goals

KPI's:

Positive shifts in brand recognition and customer perception as measured through customer surveys and brand tracking studies Technical growth of the team Positive customer's feedback Number of demos, time studies, and test cuts performed Conversion rate of demos to closed orders

Key Skillset:

Excellent leadership and team management skills Proficient in designing and executing effective training programs to enhance skillsets and improve performance Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to understand customer behaviors, new requirements and technology improvements, and translate insights into actionable strategies Exceptional communication skills for interacting effectively with teams and stakeholders Your education & experience: Higher education and 5+ years of work related experience.
