Job Description

job summary: Step into a pivotal role managing Restricted Substances Management (RSM) compliance for a leading innovator. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills and interpret complex chemical regulations to ensure product safety and compliance. The primary site is a sprawling, state-of-the-art corporate campus located on Waukegan Road in Lake County, Illinois, offering a dynamic hybrid or remote working environment.

EU REACH, US
Conflict Minerals, and EU RoHS. Interpret regulatory requirements to create and implement actionable business processes. Track and communicate progress against program milestones while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Collaborate internally and externally with suppliers to gather, organize, and store restricted substances data. Ensure RSM compliance is integrated into long-term planning and new product introductions. Analyze component and sub-assembly information to assess the impact of restricted substances.
qualifications:
Required Skills Experience in Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industries. Direct experience with Chemical Regulations compliance. Minimum 1-2 years of demonstrated project management experience. Technical ability to interpret and apply chemical regulations to products. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and demonstrate strong initiative. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Bachelor's degree. Competency with the Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook). Preferred Skills Knowledge of global restricted substances regulations (e.g., EU RoHS, EU REACH, Prop 65, China MEE No. 12). Bachelor's degree specifically in a science, engineering, or related technical discipline. Familiarity with pharmaceutical R D, manufacturing/TPM, and supply chain activities. Strong project management techniques including building plans, schedules, and presentations. #LI-ST1 skills:
