U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person required due to ITAR Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and technically driven Program Lead / Technical Project Engineer to support complex aerospace hardware and software development programs. This role will be responsible for driving execution against key customer and program milestones, coordinating cross-functional engineering activities, and ensuring delivery commitments are achieved on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. The ideal candidate combines strong program execution skills with an understanding of hardware and software development lifecycles within a regulated aerospace environment. Primary Responsibilities Execute plans necessary to achieve key programmatic and customer milestones, including hardware deliveries, qualification activities, and lab/test support efforts. Manage work scope, action item tracking, schedules, EVMS activities, risks, and standard work processes. Create, monitor, and report key program metrics related to budget, quality, schedule, and execution performance. Identify negative trends and implement corrective actions to maintain program performance objectives. Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, manufacturing, test, and program management. Maintain strong internal customer focus while ensuring high standards of quality and execution. Identify program risks proactively and develop mitigation and recovery plans. Prepare and deliver written and verbal status updates to program leadership and management teams. Support program planning, resource coordination, and execution activities across multiple concurrent efforts. Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal development processes and standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field. Experience supporting aerospace, defense, avionics, or other highly regulated technical programs. Understanding of full lifecycle product development, including requirements analysis, design, integration, verification, and testing. Experience supporting program execution activities including schedules, risk management, action tracking, and milestone management. Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders. Experience creating and monitoring program metrics and driving corrective actions. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading or coordinating technical teams supporting hardware and software development programs. Familiarity with software development processes, standards, and best practices. Understanding of procedures supporting hardware and software product development. Experience ensuring compliance with hardware and software development standards. Knowledge of build and configuration management procedures for hardware/software development. Familiarity with Collins Aerospace secondary distribution products. Experience working with Collins Aerospace products, systems, or suppliers. Experience with the following tools:
