In this pivotal role, you will oversee the strategic vision, execution, and continuous enhancement of core enterprise and field-facing applications across multiple divisions. This opportunity is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a hands-on environment, ensuring that systems are effectively configured, adopted, and integrated to deliver measurable operational and financial results. Collaborating closely with leaders in Service, Construction Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Virtual Design and Construction, and HR, you will drive process improvements and enable seamless system functionality across the organization.
Compensation:
$130,000 - $160,000 annuallyResponsibilities:
Drive the administration, configuration, and ongoing tuning of the enterprise application portfolio supporting construction and service divisions. Partner with business leaders to map out end-to-end workflows, define requirements, and implement scalable improvements across various functions. Manage product backlog, establish strategic roadmaps, and oversee release planning to prioritize enhancements that maximize ROI. Lead field enablement initiatives through testing, user acceptance, training, and communication efforts to promote system adoption and data quality. Oversee application support by troubleshooting issues, managing escalations, and coordinating root cause analysis to ensure system stability. Facilitate integrations and data exchange across platforms by managing APIs, vendor solutions, and data flow processes, reducing duplication and improving reporting. Establish and enforce governance standards regarding user roles, permissions, controls, and processes to ensure compliance and scalable operations. Develop and deliver insightful reports on system usage, process efficiency, and operational performance, recommending technological and process improvements to leadership. Lead and grow the applications support team, including external vendors or internal resources, setting standards for documentation, testing, and deployment.Requirements:
Proven experience managing and optimizing business applications within a multi-department environment, with a track record of leadership and project delivery. Demonstrated success supporting field-based service or construction organizations of similar or larger scale, with cross-functional workflow expertise. Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently gather requirements, prioritize system enhancements, and deliver measurable results. Deep understanding of operational and financial processes such as dispatch, job costing, WIP, project management, billing, accounts payable/ receivable, and procurement. Proven vendor management skills, including driving accountability and ensuring support SLAs. Skilled communicator capable of translating business needs into system solutions and adoption strategies. Hands-on experience with system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and release management.Preferred:
Experience leading or supporting implementations and post-go-live stabilization for tools like BuildOps, Sage Intacct Construction, Procore, Autodesk, or Trimble. Competency in API management and integrating complex applications via iPaaS platforms. Ability to oversee developer resources, managing tasks and project timelines effectively.
