Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Part-Time Bilingual IT Project Coordinator to support an ongoing Network Data Center project in Jeffersonville, Indiana. In this role, you will act as a critical communication bridge between local on-site teams, vendors, and Chinese-speaking stakeholders. If you have excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and an interest in IT infrastructure and data center operations, this is a great opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Bilingual Communication:
Serve as the primary liaison between English-speaking local contractors/teams and Chinese-speaking project managers/engineers, ensuring all technical requirements and project goals are clearly understood.
On-Site Coordination:
Provide localized support at the Jeffersonville facility, helping to guide vendor access, verify hardware deliveries, and document on-site progress (e.g., taking photos, taking inventory).
Qualifications:
Language Skills:
Native or full professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese (written and verbal) is strictly required.
Communication Skills:
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex or technical information clearly across different cultures and teams.
Experience:
Previous experience in project coordination, administration, or IT support is highly preferred.
Technical Aptitude:
A basic understanding of IT infrastructure, networking equipment, or data center environments is a strong plus, though comprehensive technical training will be provided.
Work Ethic:
Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Location:
Must be located in or within commutable distance to Jeffersonville, IN.
