Job Description
SAP Business Applications Manager
Manages the local application team: Being part of the global IT team organization requires a team player and a leader who can guide the direct reports and junior specialists along with the formation and work with the peers across Global IT.
To follow, align, and ensure the Security & Compliance defined by Global IT.
Manages the change request tasks, minor, major, or business projects/tasks in the USA and Can ada.
Resolve Tier 2 user system problems by gaining and applying expertise in:
SAP Enterprise Resource Plan ningHoneywell OptiVision Manufacturing Execution Sy stemSAP Business Wareh ouseSAP Business Obj ectsOther applications or tool sets are used to support the business. (Manufacturing proc ess)Globa l BIGlobal MDMSalesforce, e tc....Ensuring the Business Team provides the requirement document (RD) and works with the vendor/IT to provide the feasibility opti ons.
Provides support for the issues/deliverables required by the functional ar eas.
Provide support and ensure the user acceptance testing and user training process is adhered to.
To be aligned with the infrastructure and technology proc ess.
Change management process should be as defined in the Global helpdesk sys tem.
Effective participation in a team environm ent.
Involve in evaluation for any new software/systems solutions for the busin ess.
Maintain professional communications with all levels of the organizat ion.
Any other tasks assigned by the Regional IT Manager and the Global IT Managers/Direc tor.
Some after-hours support may be required at ti mes.
May be required to perform other related duties as assig ned.
Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in Business Applications support in a Manufacturing environment prefe rred.
Preference given to SAP experience, but any ERP system experience is des ired.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex is sues.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional t eams.
Primarily office-based with occasional requirements to visit manufacturing s ites.
On-call availability may be required for critical business system issues and emergen cies.

Responsibiliti es:
Manages the business application operation support via the global helpdesk proc ess.Manages the local application team: Being part of the global IT team organization requires a team player and a leader who can guide the direct reports and junior specialists along with the formation and work with the peers across Global IT.
Vendor Coordination:
Managing relationships with software providers for updates, licensing, and supp ort.To follow, align, and ensure the Security & Compliance defined by Global IT.
User Support & Training:
Facilitates the End User training sessions, and ensure the needful documentation as required by the SDLC cycle is in pl ace.Manages the change request tasks, minor, major, or business projects/tasks in the USA and Can ada.

Requireme n ts:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related f ield.Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in Business Applications support in a Manufacturing environment prefe rred.
Preference given to SAP experience, but any ERP system experience is des ired.
Technical Proficiency:
Knowledge of software development, databases, business application support, and system integra tion.Project Management:
Experience with project methodologies and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneo usly.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex is sues.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional t eams.
Primarily office-based with occasional requirements to visit manufacturing s ites.
On-call availability may be required for critical business system issues and emergen cies.
