Job Description

Dillard University, classified by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education as a balanced Arts and Sciences sciences/ professions institution, located in the culturally rich and diverse city of New Orleans, Louisiana invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of IT Tech Teacher in the School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), for the Summer 2026. STEM Achievers Program (SAP) IT Technology Teacher Qualification(s): A B.S. in Computer Science or Technology related areas from an accredited institution or 2 or more years experience in Computer Science/ Information Technology or Technology related areas is required.
Job Description:
This is a seasonal full-time position. This position reports to the Director of The STEM Achievers (SAP) Program.
Job Requirements:
This person will facilitate the hands-on daily learning activities of the STEM Achievers Program participants. This includes but not limited to: Coding/ Circuit, Application Development, Virtual Reality/ Augmented Reality, Robotics, 3-D Printing/ Additive Manufacturing/ Modeling and all other STEM Achievers Program technology activities.
