Summary:
The Maintenance Digitization & AI Enablement Analyst plays a critical role in modernizing how maintenance work is performed by enabling the effective use of digital tools, mobile technology, and AI-supported troubleshooting. This role bridges hands-on maintenance expertise with emerging digital capabilities. The analyst partners closely with technicians, maintenance leaders, and ERA teams to drive adoption of tablets, CMMS workflows, and AI tools that improve equipment uptime, troubleshooting speed, and overall maintenance effectiveness. This individual acts as the site expert and advocate for digital maintenance practices-coaching technicians on the shop floor, reinforcing standards, and sharing best practices that can be scaled across North American manufacturing sites.
Responsibilities:
Digital & Technology Enablement Support deployment, setup, and day-to-day use of handheld and tablet devices for maintenance technicians. Enable the use of AI-supported troubleshooting tools, including image-based diagnostics and guided problem-solving. Serve as the primary on-site expert for maintenance digital tools, working closely with ERA, IT, and Maintenance Leadership. AI & Digital Tool Adoption Coach technicians on how to leverage AI tools to diagnose issues, reduce trial-and-error, and complete work orders more efficiently. Reinforce consistent use of digital maintenance workflows within CMMS and related platforms. Identify opportunities where AI and digitization can reduce downtime, improve first-time-fix rates, or simplify maintenance execution. Training, Coaching & Change Leadership Provide hands-on, peer-to-peer training to technicians during shifts and planned learning sessions. Develop and maintain simple job aids, quick-reference guides, and best-practice examples tailored to site needs. Act as a change champion-helping technicians understand why digital tools matter and how they support safer, faster, and more reliable work. Can be up to 50% travel within the U.S., with potential to support global sites in the future. Adoption, Compliance & Performance Support Monitor adoption of tablets, CMMS workflows, and AI tools across the maintenance team. Partner with maintenance leadership to address gaps in usage, capability, or compliance. Support tracking of leading indicators such as tool utilization, work order quality, and troubleshooting cycle time. Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing Provide structured feedback to ERA and enterprise teams on tool performance, usability, and enhancement opportunities. Capture lessons learned, success stories, and practical use cases that can be replicated at other sites. Contribute to regional or enterprise forums to share best practices and support broader digitization efforts.
