The Manager leads the project management function's customer facing aspects, continuously improving standard project and program management methodologies to present resources and costs associated with IT investments requested by the business teams. The Manager coordinates communication between business sponsors and IT leaders to oversee the initiation and successful completion of projects, including the establishment of cross-functional and geographic governance bodies to align the prioritization, sequencing, and execution of business investments that implicate IT systems. The Manager also contributes and suggests needed improvements to the project intake process to reflect changes in IT and business organizations or processes. What You Need to Succeed Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. A minimum of 8 years of project and portfolio management or relevant related experience required. Experience with Waterfall and SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects preferred. Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results. Experience interacting with international stakeholders preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively and professionally create, compose, and edit written materials. Fluency in English required; multilingual capabilities preferred. While performing the role, you will need to lift as much as 25 lbs. Approximately 5% travel may be required to support staffing, training, and global coordination. Strong organization, planning, and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks for yourself and a team to meet requirements and deadlines. Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results. Strong leadership skills; ability to drive and motivate a team to achieve results. What You Can Offer Us Gather requisite information to create and balance the portfolio, make recommendations based on analyses, and report progress to IT leaders. Collaborate and develop strong partnerships with business sponsors to understand and meet their strategic roadmaps and business goals. Build governance, standardized templates and documentation, auditing, set policies, new formats, and regional standards compliant with global expectations. Provide strong governance over Enterprise IT programs and projects ensuring adherence to Global IT Project Management Office policies and procedures with the right to audit projects and escalate areas of concern. Ensure effective resource management and capacity planning to meet IT resource demands across the organization in a manner that maximizes efficiencies and minimizes conflicts. Provide continuous policy and procedure improvement recommendations to ensure we drive productivity, quality, and project success. Facilitate and lead project investment steering committee meetings, ensuring the highest priority projects to meet strategic goals are delivered. Provide inputs into the business-driven project intake process including planning, cross-regional coordination, leadership approvals, overall communications, and reporting. Other duties as assigned.
